Speaker Profile ... Liz Mullaly

Glenn Kelly, Ph.D.

Has specialised in assessment of decision-making capacity in a range of settings including rehabilitation, aged care, psychiatry, and private practice. Liz has also worked in the Caulfield Hospital Memory Clinic for the past 18 years. She has provided educational presentations on decision-making capacity to postgraduate neuropsychology students, geriatricians, members of the Victorian Civil Administrative Tribunal, and staff of the Office of the Public Advocate. Liz has collaborated with colleagues at La Trobe University to carry out a survey of decision-making capacity assessment practices of Australian neuropsychologists and more recently has assisted with development of guidelines for report writing for Guardianship Tribunals.

 

She was the chairperson of the College of Clinical Neuropsychologists (Vic Branch) from 2006 to 2008 and has recently represented the College in making submissions to the Victorian Law Reform Commission regarding Powers of Attorney and Guardianship law.
